Some contestants didn’t seem to know the name Debbie Wasserman Schultz, even when given clues on the nationally televised game show, “Jeopardy.”
According to WND, host Alex Trebek showed a picture of the former Democrat National Committee chair to three contestants. If they answered correctly, the contestants would win $2,000.
The contestants were given clues and told she was the former DNC chair as well as a Florida congresswoman. However, the players stood at their stands, completely clueless.
Finally Trebek was forced to reveal the answer. Still no one seemed to know the name.
Poor Debbie. Just a few short months ago, she was all set up to be America’s queen-maker with the coronation of Hillary Clinton. How the mighty have fallen.
It seems as if Americans either quickly forgot all about the Democrats and their scandals or simply are not educated enough to know anything about political leaders in their own country.
Are some Americans truly this clueless? It appeared that way.
Also last year, Politico reported that some players could not name Attorney General Loretta Lynch, the first female African-American attorney general in U.S. history.
Both times, Trebek seemed surprised when he had to give the answers.
There are many reasons why many Americans are so ill-informed. The mass media, crumbling school systems and just plain ignorance plague the American people. And those who do care and pay attention fall by the wayside.
And, of course, most Democrats would probably prefer it if we forgot about Wasserman Schultz and her scandals, too.
