Megyn Kelly is rumored to be leaving Fox News, and many conservatives are hoping she lives up to it!
On that note, online video host Tomi Lahren recently took Kelly to the woodshed over her outspoken criticism of Pamela Geller. “I’m really disappointed to see that coming from Megyn Kelly. I really did think she was better than that,” she said.
Kelly attacked Geller, who is the president of the American Freedom Defense Initiative, by saying, “There’s no question she’s a hateful person…She’s not a fan of anyone who’s Muslim from the sound of what she says.”
The facts show otherwise. Geller is not anti-Islam in any way, but she is entirely anti-radical Islam as seen by the title of one of her books, “Stop the Islamization of America.” She is concerned about jihadists as we all should be.
Kelly, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to understand the issue—or she is just pandering to liberals who cozy-up to radical Islam in some crazy, Woodstock way. Maybe she’s helping her job prospects in case she makes her way to CNN or MSNBC?
“Megyn Kelly has never shown any indication of realizing the nature of the threat; the magnitude of the threat; the ideological brutes of the threat,” Geller said.
Geller’s work centers on the protection of all points of freedom. Specifically, she fights for the rights of Christians in a world where their place is being squashed by the left. She sees a world that is diminishing Christianity while lifting up Islam on a pedestal, even its twisted radicalized version.
Trying to figure out what made Kelly attack her, Geller asked, “What makes her think that it’s hateful to stand in defense of the first amendment. What’s hateful about that?” Geller’s positions are such that any run-of-the-mill conservative would agree with her, but, clearly, Kelly is anything but conservative. She tried to convince us otherwise, but over time the truth surfaced.
Standing against radical Islam does not mean you are Islamophobic or anti-Islamic. “When is the left…and even someone like Megyn Kelly, going to realize that the labels don’t work?” Lahren asked.
Kelly has been in a downward spiral since taking on Trump last year. While she attempted to be fair and balanced, per Fox News’s theme, she has clearly leaned heavily to the left. Her guests on the issue of Islam are always those who defend radicals, which is far from a balanced, genuine conversation on the issue.
Bad thinking, Megyn. The newly elected president and people like Tomi Lahren are making it cool again to be conservative! You’re officially on the outside where you belong. Maybe you can get a job working with your buddy Howard Stern.
