Trump Accuses Obama of Sabotaging Presidential Transition

President-elect Donald Trump has had it with President Barack Obama’s repeated efforts to sabotage his transition to the presidency, and he challenged Obama Wednesday on social media over it.

Trump posted to Twitter that he was doing his best to ignore everything Obama was doing to make the transition difficult.

Sadly, it isn’t surprising that the president would stoop to this level.

“Doing my best to disregard the many inflammatory President O statements and roadblocks. Thought it was going to be a smooth transition — NOT!” Trump posted to Twitter.

It’s easy to see where Trump is coming from. Obama and his administration have, on more than one occasion, done their best to destabilize the transition.

Perhaps the most disgraceful thing Obama has done recently was break with U.S. policy and decline to exercise his veto on a resolution that called for an end to the Jewish settlements in the West Bank, despite appeals from Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Trump.

Trump wasn’t been quiet about that, either. “We cannot continue to let Israel be treated with such total disdain and disrespect,” Trump wrote in another series of tweets. “They used to have a good friend in the U.S., but … not anymore.”

The Obama administration has worked overtime to undermine Trump’s transition. Last month, press secretary Josh Earnest blamed Trump for encouraging Russia’s efforts to interfere in the election, claiming there was evidence of the Trump campaign calling upon Russia to hack former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

The truly sad part about Obama resorting to this level of childishness was that it indicated how little he cared about America, because everything he’s done to undermine Trump’s transition hurts the country in some way.
