Trump Makes MASSIVE Border Move, Mexico Will Be in Panic Mode

President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team has reportedly begun surveying border agents about their opinion on where exactly his proposed U.S.-Mexico border wall should be constructed.

“My understanding is that the sectors have been asked by headquarters at the request of the transition team, ‘Tell us where you think we ought to have a wall,’” said Rep. Henry Cuellar, a presumably frustrated Democrat, in a statement to The Monitor earlier this month.

“I can tell you about the one in Laredo — they basically said no wall,” he claimed. “But, nevertheless, (the transition team) said ‘No, that’s not good enough, come back and tell us where we ought to put fence, wall, structure, whatever you want to call it.’”

There was plenty of reason to doubt the veracity of Cuellar’s claim, one of them being his designation as a Democrat. Moreover, he was one of many leftists who believed a so-called “virtual border” would be a more cost-effective alternative to a physical wall.

Specifically, he hoped balloons or blimps equipped with infrared, high-resolution cameras could be used to surveil the border.

“Along with the (balloons), Cuellar said the use of towers, with cameras with a five-mile range of visibility in either direction, and ground sensors would aid the Border Patrol in securing the border,” The Monitor explained. “He also suggested the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, or drones, which have begun to be used in the San Angelo area earlier this year.”

While border balloons were a legitimate tool for tracking illegals, they were not the be-all and end-all in the eyes of Trump or his supporters, a 79 percent majority of whom expressed ardent support for his wall in a survey conducted four months ago by the Pew Research Center.

Sadly, Democrats were not the only ones standing in the president-elect’s way anymore. A recent Bloomberg report revealed that “Republicans in both chambers instead support more fencing, border patrol agents, drones and other resources to curb illegal entry.”

Apparently, congressional Republicans were already beginning to buckle under pressure and back down on their pledges. How sad but typical.

Newsflash to the feckless cowards in Congress: The border wall is coming whether you like it or not.
